The Nature of Pure Essential Oils

Deep within each plant, flower, fruit, herb and spice lies its most potent treasure - it’s pure essential oil.  These precious oils represent the concentrated essence of nature at its best - the soul essence. They carry the unique fragrance of the plant and also its remarkable and healing restorative properties, including anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and other therapeutic effects. The pure essential oils work to support total wellbeing and enable us to welcome the goodness of nature into our lives in a profound and simple way.

The soul essence of each plant are accessed in different ways, for example

  • Delicate rose petals and jasmine flowers need gentle solvent extraction to release their precious oils

  • Lavender, rosemary and other aromatic and herbaceous plants release their oils through careful steam distillation

  • Citrus fruits like orange, bergamot and lemon share their oils through cold pressing of their peels

The magical quantum effect means that with the right knowledge about the qualities and effect of each oil, understood through the structure of the biodynamics of fragrance and the inner soul nature of each plant, along with the Aromapoint Therapy Method we can work in ways to subtly change our energy system.

Pure essential oils are quite different from synthetic fragrances, they are living substances with energetic qualities that can have a direct impact on our emotions by virtue of their unique vibrational and quantum qualities. Each drop contains hundreds of natural compounds working in perfect harmony - just as nature intended. When we breathe in their aroma they speak directly to our emotional brain breaking the chain of negative thinking and feeling patterns, helping to ease stress, shift moods and restore emotional balance. Their aromatic molecules stimulate the olfactory system and influence the limbic system which regulates emotion and memory, this is the interaction which evokes an emotional and energetic response.

My Pure Essential Oil Journey

Eight years ago, I started practicing yoga with Elena Brower. I love her way of being and began to follow and be part of each new aspect she offered. I joined her Simplify and Mentorship Programmes, which have undoubtedly helped shape my business. Totally inspired by her work I began to work with her directly in connection with Do-terra, and so it was through working with Elena that I first began exploring this ‘new’ world of Pure Essential Oils.

This was a magical time as it felt like the world was truly opening up to me. Fragrances, which I had always loved, became a beautiful support for my wellbeing. I had glimpses of the possibility of sharing this work with many and creating a business to bring this knowledge and experience to others. Through working with Elena, Pure Essential Oils became an entirely new language and an integral part of my life. Each precious plant essence became a friend for different reasons - whether I needed strength, or to allow myself to receive more, or simply to feel embraced by a warm, supportive hug.

The way these oils worked with my energy system, and the way I witnessed their impact on my clients, made it clear that they would become an essential part of my work. Through Elena, I was introduced to Tiffany Carole, another true inspiration and one of the Founders of the Aromapoint Therapy modality and I have spent the last few years studying and diving deeply into her extensive body of work.

This way of working with Pure Essential Oils has completely transformed my understanding of them. They are a beautifully understated yet powerful resource for healing. I am passionate about sharing this knowledge with you, and soon, it will be available through our Aromapoint Miracle Box Collections - a complete journey in three parts:

Essential Oil Safety Caution

When used appropriately, our Pure Essential Oils are safe for use by the entire family. However if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are unsure about something we would not recommended using our products unless advised by a Qualified Health Professional.

As a general rule as with all things in life - some common sense precautions should be observed when using something new. If you feel you may be sensitive we would recommend you apply a patch test and observe any reactions, plus really feel into how the oil you choose is for you.

Even though our oils are diluted please be sure to avoid them touching the delicate eye area. Keep them away from unattended children, pets, and from all highly polished surfaces. We recommend you wash your hands after application.    

It is not advised to apply citrus oils, even diluted ones, prior to going out in the sun as these oil are photosensitising and may course irritation or even burn any areas where oil has been applied when contacted by direct sunlight. Sweet orange, Bergamot , May Chang and Lemon come into this category.

They work with small scale artisan farmers to ensure the growing, harvesting and distillation process is ethical, fair and empowering.
