Where it all began

Brought up in Greater London, with her sister Saskia, Corinna’s early years provided a safe and solid foundation. Both parents are creative. Her father is a professional artist (bertkitchen.com). The girls were always encouraged to embrace a rich and diverse experience of life.

It was a magical time for children - an era of Enid Blyton and The Faraway Tree, when freedom to explore nature was the norm. Many happy days were spent in the garden building homes for hedgehogs, picking flowers for posies, or enjoying walks and picnics in the nearby forest. As a young child Corinna also spent many peaceful hours making dresses with her Mum and sister or drawing with her Dad as he crafted his surreal and magical world through his art.

While both parents were practical, they deeply valued the importance of pursuing one’s passions and dreams—of truly exploring what you love. This nurturing, creative upbringing instilled in Corinna the confidence to forge her own path, embracing values that now underpin her pioneering work in Biodynamic Medicine.

Fashion and Media

After graduating, Corinna launched a successful career in the magazine industry, traveling extensively and collaborating with renowned artists and entrepreneurs. Over the next 10 years, she contributed to leading health, lifestyle, and fashion publications, holding key roles such as Fashion Director at New Woman magazine and later Fashion Editor at Country Living magazine.

Throughout her career, Corinna nurtured a deep interest in complementary therapies, exploring practices such as yoga, meditation, reflexology, and reiki, qualifying at various levels. By the early 2000s, inspired to shift her focus, she transitioned to freelance work to explore a new path.

A New Direction

During this transformative period, Corinna met Mary Molloy, the Principal of the Institute of Biodynamic Medicine and experienced a series of biodynamic sessions. The profound impact of the biodynamic work - unlike any other modality she had explored - led her to undertake an intensive four-year postgraduate-level training in Biodynamic Psychology and Psychotherapy. This included specialised approaches such as biodynamic massage, deep draining, vegetotherapy, psychosomatics and biodynamic psychology.

While immersed in her training Corinna continued her work as a freelance stylist. She also managed her and her husband’s film and photoshoot location in London.. Following her graduation and certification in Biodynamic Psychology and Psychotherapy, she worked as a freelance fashion editor for Country Living magazine while gradually building her own clinical practice.

Becoming a new mother marked a shift in Corinna’s focus toward her countryside home in Wiltshire. With increasing demand for her biodynamic expertise, she established her Licensed Biodynamic Clinic, offering one-to-one sessions and occasional residential retreats from a dedicated annex in her Wiltshire home.

In addition, Corinna worked as a freelance Biodynamic Psychotherapist for Fiona Arrigo, contributing to The Arrigo Programme's renowned Somerset retreats. She continues to maintain this relationship and is currently available for one to one sessions online as an Arrigo Certified Practitioner.

Corinna collaborated with the Institute of Biodynamic Medicine as Events Coordinator for several Experiential Workshops and Public Meetings, including notable sessions led by Gerda Boyesen, such as “Meeting People” in Kensington, London.

A New Chapter

Corinna moved to Lewes in East Sussex where she established her business and practice, Biodynamic Wellbeing - a Licensed Biodynamic Clinic - offering professional biodynamic psychotherapy services, including bespoke one-to-one residential retreats.

As she raised her son she also became actively involved in her local community, working at Lewes New School - a Child-Centred Learning school - as a Teaching Assistant and Art Teacher.

She developed her own Holiday time ‘Children’s Art Workshops’ which were very biodynamic in nature. This meant that each child was supported to create in the ways that they chose. At any one time groups of 15 children - all supervised but working on their own - were mastering completely unique projects using different materials and different methods, thriving and loving the experience. It totally supported their free expression in safe and wholly creative ways.

During this time Corinna had already begun to weave many Ayurvedic practices into her life and developed a great interest in Pure Essential Oils. As her biodynamic practice had become very busy so she made a decision to discontinue the Art Workshops to focus on her one to one biodynamic clinical work.

She collaborated with the Institute of Biodynamic Medicine, coordinating and hosting Evening Talks and Introductory Workshops. Corinna also co-presented public lectures and workshops introducing Biodynamic Medicine alongside Mary Molloy and others in London, Lewes, and Brighton.

Corinna deepened her holistic expertise by becoming a Certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant. She trained at the renowned Chopra Centre in California and, following her graduation and certification, continued her studies to become a Primordial Sound Meditation Teacher.

Weaving together Biodynamic Medicine, Ayurveda and Aromapoint Therapy

During this time Corinna was mentored by Elena Brower, a renowned specialist in pure essential oils under the doTERRA umbrella. It was through this mentorship that Corinna’s love for Pure Essential Oils truly developed and blossomed.

Her additional training in Ayurveda further fuelled her desire to share the wealth of modalities she had integrated into her own life. While maintaining her busy biodynamic practice, Corinna began nurturing the idea for corinnakitchen.com. She reflected deeply on how to transition from working solely one-to-one with clients to reaching a wider audience through online and in-person programmes and retreats.

During the pandemic, Corinna focused on further developing her knowledge with Online training. She deepened her understanding of Ayurveda, focusing on Ayurvedic Nutrition, by studying with ANACT, the world-renowned Ayurvedic Nutrition and Culinary School in New York, led by Divya Alter and her team of expert Ayurvedic practitioners.

While continuing her mentorship with Elena Brower, Corinna was introduced to Tiffany Carole, one of the founders of Aromapoint Therapy. Profoundly inspired by Tiffany’s perspective and groundbreaking work, Corinna chose to expand her mastery of Pure Essential Oils through advanced training at Tiffany’s Master Healer Academy.

Along with her Biodynamic and Ayurvedic work this in-depth approach to working with Pure Essential Oils has become a cornerstone of Corinna’s practice.

Corinna is passionate about sharing this transformational knowledge with you through her Biodynamic and Ayurvedic Enrichment Programmes, as well as with her Pure Essential Oil Miracle Box and Balancing Blend Enrichment Collections. These offerings provide a living, embodied experience of self-healing through a journey to align with your unique and vibrant nature.

To experience this multifaceted approach for yourself, Corinna warmly invites you to join ‘The Love and Self Care Community’ - offered free to Founding Members until March 2025.

In January 2024, Corinna was appointed as a Director of the Institute of Biodynamic Medicine (IOBM).

In February 2024 she traveled to Dubai, where the Institute unveiled plans to expand its biodynamic work across the UAE, GCC, MENA regions, and Southeast Asia.

Alongside Mary Molloy, Principal of the IOBM, Corinna co-presented Biodynamic Medicine Introduction public lectures and workshops in Dubai.

She also introduced the Miracle Box Enrichment Collections - through a series of hosted workshops. These were enthusiastically received, sparking significant interest in affiliate partnerships and business-to-business opportunities.

Corinna will be continuing this work with IOBM with a view to launching the biodynamic 2.0 in a new Joint Venture Company with other parties in these regions. This will include a range of bespoke residential retreats and immersions, a quantum higher level Biodynamic Diploma training for existing health professionals and others to become part of a new initiative bringing core biodynamic medicine protocols - including ‘Healing from the Effects of Trauma’; and building new foundations for peace at micro and macro levels in the Middle East and in the rest of the world.

Corinna lives in Transition Town Lewes in the beautiful South Downs with her artist husband, John (johnhudsonpaintings.com), their 18-year-old entrepreneur son, Ben, and their mystic cat, Minnie.

A lover of nature, aesthetics, and beauty, Corinna finds joy in discovering new things and new ways of doing things - after all she is a ‘life long editor’ of feeling into what is ‘out there’ - fine-tuning, discarding and holding on to what feels supportive, joyfull and nourishing for life.

Travel is a deep passion, she delights in experiencing the true essence of a place. Creativity remains at the heart of her life, from her love of music and dancing to playing the piano and cello. She is also a long standing member of the Lewes Gospel Choir.

Corinna warmly looks forward to meeting you and welcoming you into the Love and Self Care Community, where you can be part of creating a Flourishing New World.
