Somewhere to pause · Somewhere to breathe
Somewhere to hear ourselves again, beneath the noise of everyday life
Life inevitably brings change,
challenge and experience.
We are all affected by what we
live through, the highs and lows.
Yet we also have the innate capacity to heal, to restore balance, to soften and even to strengthen through transforming the more difficult effects of what we have experienced.
Beneath stress and armouring, the body’s natural
desire is to move towards wellbeing.
My work is to create a safe space
to hold and support
that intrinsic movement.
Beauty is itself, a rose is itself
Gerda Boyesen discovered that the gut — the body’s second brain — holds a central role in processing not only food but emotion and life experience.
She called this psychoperistalsis — the body’s own intelligence at work.
In the world as it is, this natural clearing is easily interrupted. Unresolved emotion, accumulated stress and long-held tension gather over time and we can come to feel stuck, disconnected or simply not ourselves.
The healing intelligence is still there — it needs only the right conditions to move freely again.
Biodynamic Psychotherapy is root-level work — it meets the source of what holds you back — in the body, in the feelings, in your very sense of self, allowing what has been held to release, restore and return you to yourself.
“There is a healing mechanism in the body that dissolves tension and resolves emotional conflict on the unconscious organic level.”Gerda Boyesen · Clinical Psychologist, Founder of Biodynamic Psychology
In both Ayurveda and biodynamic medicine, digestion is fundamental to health and wellbeing. Good digestion allows us to transform food into nourishment, supporting our energy and vitality and helping us to care for the body well.
Equally, both traditions recognise the importance of being able to digest, process and integrate our life experiences. What we are able to take in, feel, process and move through shapes how fully we are able to inhabit and experience our lives.
When both physical and emotional digestion are supported and in flow, we can feel more present, more vital and more connected to ourselves and to our natural capacity for health and balance.
This is where Ayurveda and biodynamic medicine meet in my work — two ways of supporting our capacity to fully digest and participate in life.
"It doesn't matter what the matter is."
Whatever has affected you, whatever its effects have become — in the body, in the nervous system, in the patterns that persist — we can work to clear it. Whilst we carry disturbances from life's challenges, we cannot fully feel ourselves. These things are in the way, held within us. This work helps empty the residues of all that is not you — so that you can return to who you are and become full of yourself again.
We can’t change
what has happened,
but we can feel
differently about it
One-to-one work is a real privilege — to accompany another in something so personal and private is something I hold with great care.
I offer a neutral, non-judgemental space and my intention is always to meet you exactly where you are.
We begin in the consultation with you sharing how you are, what is going on, what is arising and what you would like to work with.
From these deep understandings I sense what is needed and together we create a bespoke programme.

The practice is very gentle but deeply profound. It is effective and it also takes time — what has been held for a long time needs time to unravel. And yet even one session can leave us feeling different.
A programme matters energetically. It has a beginning, a middle and an end. Whether this is six hours or thirty, together we create a bespoke programme to suit you.
“An exceptional therapist — precise, elegant, wise, tender.
Her work has great depth and gentleness.”

For over twenty-five years I have practised within the Biodynamic tradition — training with Mary Molloy at the Institute of Biodynamic Medicine — and having the privilege of learning from Gerda Boyesen during her later teaching years.
You are carrying anxiety, stress or an overwhelm that simply does not seem to shift, however hard you try.
Patterns repeat in your life and you sense they live somewhere deeper than thought or willpower can reach.
You are living with the effects of shock, loss or trauma — recent or long ago — that still lives in the body.
You are at an inner crossroads and want support that goes beyond talking things through.
You feel disconnected from yourself — from your body, your feelings, your sense of direction.
You are seeking genuine depth, safety and lasting change, rather than a quick fix.
If any of these feel familiar, the simplest first step is a conversation

You complete a client information record and book your ninety-minute or two-hour session, and I’ll be in touch to arrange a time that suits before we begin the work.
I hold a small number of concession places — if cost stands between you and this work, please email me and ask.
A mutually agreed biodynamic programme, designed around you, between six and thirty hours or more as needed, and then reviewed.
All biodynamic sessions are offered online via Zoom. The quality of the work is not diminished by distance — the relational field has no boundary. I have a limited number of spaces for one-to-one biodynamic work and work with a small number of clients at any one time.
I can only speak for myself — but clients mirror my experiences
"It was like new lights being switched on — gaps were being filled, discomfort was being eased out. And within that I was much more easily able to stay in my centre, feel more ease in my body and access more positive feelings. This is the work I would most like to share with you."
